This month’s MotM is an important one and one that is often neglected or overlooked: self care. We are encouraged, even if only for 15 minutes a day, to treat ourselves the way we would treat our best friend: with kindness, compassion, and a keen ear for listening.
At the very least it serves us best to learn the language of our heart and soul; to pay attention to what lifts us and what brings us down, to recognize when we need to be still and when we need to take action, and to know when to say yes and when to say no.
Ponder this as you color this month’s mandala.
