The idea for this month’s mandala comes from a little girl who watched as I sketched out some of the 2015 Mandalas of the Month designs.

About to sketch July’s, I asked her what would she like to see in it. She replied: “an elephant.” So here you go…a bodacious elephant.

I love the Urban Dictionary’s definition of the word bodacious.

bodacious is a combination of the words bold and audacious. To be bodacious is to be: impressive, awesome, brave in action, remarkable, prodigious.

Why get by on just “enough” when we can live larger than life, in total awesomeness. We can start with some bodacious coloring of this month’s mandala.

What big ideas do we have that would best be served by bringing them into form rather than leaving them in their perpetual dream state? Dare to dream do it big!

Ponder this as we color this month’s mandala.
