March 2009 – Eureka!

March 2009 MOTM
March 2009 MOTM

This mandala design came to me one section at a time.  First the arched horizontal lines, then the sloping upward lines, and then the shape at the top.  When I was done and contemplating its meaning, the first word that popped into my head was “Hallelujah”.  I continued to ponder this when the word changed to Eureka! and then the words/meaning just flowed.

This is about finding the gold that’s buried inside of all of us.  Some of you may know of your gold, most of us tend to focus on our faults, failings, character defects, or whatever name you give that negative crap that keeps you from growing.  Sadly, they seem to be easier to find and closer to the surface.

Our goal this month is to take the time to find our nuggets of gold buried deep within; our talents, skills, joys, laughter, etc.  Focus on that, let that be our quest.  Color the mandala of the month and let the gold come to the surface.  As it does, proclaim “Eureka!” in any way that works for you.

As the negative speak comes to the surface (and it will), acknowledge it, thank it for sharing, and then let it go like a feather in the breeze.  Continue digging; continue coloring.

Here’s a head start nugget:  You are whole and complete just as you are.  Eureka!

NEW FEATURE: You can now color this mandala online

As always, have fun coloring this month’s MOTM!
