During December of each year we’re reminded in a variety of ways to be of good cheer. Depending on circumstances going on around us and in the world, we can sometimes find this to be a bit challenging.

August 2014: Charity
In looking up the definition of “Charity” in the online Oxford Dictionary, I found two of the four options rather interesting. Of course they had the two obvious ones:
Help or money given voluntarily to those in need
An organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need
Both valid and both important in our society. However, options 3 and 4 touched my heart/soul deeply and I knew that these options are to be the focus of this month’s mandala of the month.
