Exploring the Spiritual Path of the 12 Steps

Step 3: Faith

For this step we are encouraged to have faith in the unfolding journey by making a conscious decision to rise above the ego, trusting in divine wisdom and the greater good.

This faith can be whatever works best for our healing journey: faith in a Higher Power, faith in ourselves, faith in the process, faith in a book, faith in those who supports us. It can be a religious faith, a spiritual faith, a personal faith—again, it’s whatever will help us to consciously choose to rise above ego selves, and have faith that we will be supported for the greater good.

It comes down to accepting that we don’t have to go it alone…to have faith in the support of others (in whatever form that takes) to help us move forward along our path.

Feel free to color this mandala as many times as you need.

About the 2025 Mandalas of the Month

Each month this year I will create and post a mandala to color as it relates to one of the 12 Steps of recovery…with a more metaphysical interpretation. Regardless of whether we have any addictions or not, let’s face it…we’re all in recovery from something. More importantly, we’re all needing/wanting to heal from our fears and limiting beliefs so that we can all live to and become our full potential.

This along with the “Mandalas of the Day/Week/Year”…tie into my overall theme for 2025: “Let There Be Peace”.

I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits. Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it. As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
