2023 June “Serve”

This month’s MotM encourages us to be of service.

Our challenge becomes asking ourselves: how can I be of service? In what way (big or small) can I make this world a better place? In what way (big or small) can I make the lives of those around me better? It could be something as simple as genuinely giving someone a smile, a complement, or a hug. If we’re not sure where to start, we could ask: “how can I help you today?” or “how can I make your life easier?” or “what would lighten your load today?”

Along with being of service to others, we must remember to include ourselves…for it doesn’t serve anyone if by being of service we deplete ourselves in the process. We can just as easily ask ourselves: “how can I be of service to myself today?” or “how can I make my life easier?” or “what would lighten my load today?”

An Invitation
